You stay in control

When you connect, you choose the agency or a single brand and one of three access levels; read is the default.
The assistant works as you: your role decides what it can see and do.
Posts and campaigns go through the brand’s approval chain and the pre-flight check; ad changes wait in Change sets; campaigns are created paused.
Launching, publishing and approving need your explicit yes in the chat, and are logged as made through the assistant.
Disconnect any time under Agency → API keys.
Your inbox and LinkedIn member data are never sent to an assistant.

Set it up

Each assistant below signs in with your Reachio account (OAuth): add the server address, sign in, choose where it may work. Menu names change between app versions; if a step looks different, look for “Connectors”, “MCP” or “custom server”.

Web and desktop app

ChatGPT

Open Plugins and choose + → Add custom MCP server.
Name it Reachio and paste the server address.
Choose OAuth as authentication, confirm the warning and create it.
Install the plugin, sign in to Reachio and choose the agency and access.
In a new chat type @Reachio and ask. ChatGPT asks you before a drafting tool runs.

Available on paid ChatGPT plans; in Business and Enterprise an admin may need to allow custom servers.

claude.ai and the desktop app

Claude

Open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
Name it Reachio and paste the server address.
Choose Connect, sign in to Reachio and choose the agency and access.
In a chat, open the tools menu and make sure Reachio is on.

On Team and Enterprise plans an owner may need to add the connector for the organisation first.

Claude Code

Run the command below.
Start Claude Code, type /mcp, choose reachio and Authenticate.
Sign in to Reachio in the browser and choose the agency and access.

Open Cursor Settings → MCP and add a new server, or put the snippet below into ~/.cursor/mcp.json.
Choose Connect next to reachio and sign in to Reachio.

Run “MCP: Add Server…” from the Command Palette, choose HTTP and paste the server address, or add the snippet below to .vscode/mcp.json.
Start the server when VS Code asks, then sign in to Reachio.
Use it in Copilot Chat in agent mode.

With an API key instead of a sign-in

Any other client

Make a key under Agency → API keys: read; read and write; or add publish and approve for launching and decisions.
Send it as a header with the server address. For example in Claude Code:

A key acts as the member who made it. Keep it secret and revoke it on the same screen.
