A connection is one platform login with its tokens. One connection can expose several pages, profiles or ad accounts, and you assign each of them to a brand.
How connecting works
- In Connections, choose a platform and sign in on the platform's own page.
- Reachio lists what that login can reach: Facebook pages, Instagram accounts, LinkedIn pages, YouTube channels, ad accounts and so on.
- Assign each one to a brand. Only the people with a role that manages connections (owner, admin, manager) can do this.
Reachio never sees passwords. Tokens are stored encrypted. Page tokens are fetched only when you assign a page, never kept in the discovery list.
Platform approvals: what connects today
Every platform has to approve Reachio's app before your accounts can be connected through it. Until then its Connect button stays disabled.
- Telegram and Bluesky need no approval and connect today, with a token instead of a sign-in (see below).
- Meta (Facebook, Instagram, Meta Ads), Google (Google Ads, YouTube, Search Console), LinkedIn, X, Microsoft Advertising, TikTok and Pinterest switch on as their approvals land.
- Apple Ads does not have a sign-in page in Reachio yet.
The integrations directory shows the state of each network and what Reachio does with it.
Telegram and Bluesky
Open Telegram & Bluesky under Connections:
- Telegram: a bot token from BotFather and the chat (channel or group) the bot posts to. Add the bot to the channel as an administrator first.
- Bluesky: the handle and an app password (Settings → App passwords on Bluesky), never your main password.
Reachio checks the secret with the platform before it saves the channel.
Let your client connect their own accounts
In Connections, choose Send client a connect link, pick the brand and send the link to your client yourself (Reachio does not e-mail it). They open it without a Reachio account, sign in on each platform's own page and choose which pages and ad accounts belong to the brand. Only the browser that completed the sign-in can assign. The link works for 7 days. Like the Connect buttons, it appears once at least one platform's approval has landed. Your client can remove the access any time from the platform's own settings.
Expiring and broken connections
Reachio refreshes tokens every hour where the platform allows it. Seven days before a token expires, owners and admins get one warning. A connection whose access was removed at the platform shows Reconnect; posts and syncs for it stop until someone signs in again.
